Q1: I want to read the Text on a pipe and don't want to be Zooming in/out all the time?
A: If you right Mouse Click any where in your Graphics Frame you can select Magnify, this will allow you to Magnify the Screen without affecting your overall display


Q2: How do I find more information about an Asset, ie. A pipes Invert Level?
A: As you move your mouse over SEWL Assets you will notice they highlight, with your Left mouse button click on one of these Assets and it will display all the attributes associated in the Report Frame


Q3: How do I find an area using GDA Co-ordinates?
A: The GDA Co-ordinates can be found on the edge of a Melways street directory. These are written in Kilometres, you must enter in the values in METRES. eg. If you read off values from the Melways 341 and 5781, you must enter the Easting as 341000 and Northing of 5781000. Also please note if you require an area outside the Melways Coverage (Bunyip etc), You can obtain GDA Co-ordinate Values from an EzMap Street Directory.


Q4: When I print out a Map it doesn't fill the whole page?
A: You are probably printing Landscape and your printers default page setup is in Portrait. Check your Printer Setup, change to Landscape and try again.


Q5: How do I draw text and lines on top of the maps?
A: This technique is referred to as REDLINING. If you click on the map with your right mouse button you will see the redlining option. By selecting this you can place Text, Lines, Circles and Callouts. (You can also change the thickness and colours of the elements you are placing). Your redlining will appear on the print.
NOTE: This option is only available with the new version of the Active-X control installed.
