South East Water’s $1M Business Water Grants
For Industrial, Commercial and Institutional customers using >10ML of water per annum
Around 30% of the total annual amount of water used in Melbourne is consumed by non-residential entities in the institutional, commercial and industrial (ICI) sector.
As part of the Victorian Government’s ‘Pathways to Sustainability’ water saving program, South East Water has actively been working with non-residential water users over 10ML/annum, to develop and initiate Water Management Plans (WMP).
South East Water’s $1M Business Water Grants will be used to provide financial assistance to water conservation and efficiency projects, identified within our customer’s Water Maps.
Round 2 of the Business Water Grants commences on 26 November 2007 and closes on 18 December 2007. Round 1 was implemented in October 2007
Highlights of the Business Water Grants include
- Open to over 500 Industrial, Commercial and Institutional South East Water customers using more than 10ML/annum
- The Grants will help to fast track water conservation projects and actions, highlighted within customer’s waterMAP
- Up to $50,000 funding available for individual projects (on a dollar for dollar basis)
