In Melbourne’s south east, we are driving an innovative and exciting project to supply recycled stormwater to residents in Narre Warren North’s Avenview Estate.
A treatment facility to produce recycled stormwater is currently being built, and is scheduled for completion in late 2011.
This locally based stormwater recycling project offers significant environmental benefits and allows our community to actively participate in saving precious drinking water. It will also provide valuable insights into the viability of stormwater recycling on a larger scale.
