Recycled water

Dry conditions and reducing rainfall means that Australians cannot afford to waste a single drop of water. Victorians are rising to the challenge and recycled water is now an exciting reality that is being utilised in several new housing developments across Melbourne.

Who can get it?

Sandhurst Club, with its two golf courses and Hunt Club Estate are the first residential estates in Victoria to have access to recycled water.

At the moment these are the only two estates in our service area that have access to this precious resource. Victorian government legislation has mandated the supply of recycled water to all future residential developments in the Cranbourne and Pakenham growth corridors.

What does it cost?

Recycled water is charged to customers at the lowest price tier.

How do I use it?

Recycled water in residential estates is available for use in the garden and for toilet flushing. It is identified by distinctive purple taps and hoses.
