Rainwater
A rainwater tank can be an easy and efficient way to collect and use rainwater that falls on your roof. It's also not restricted so it's a great way to keep your garden alive and car clean during staged water restrictions. But before making this important investment you need to understand how to make your tank work for you. How?

Talk to a plumber
Firstly, talk to your local licensed plumber, or alternatively we can arrange a plumber for you.

Consider Tank Size
Getting the right size tank is important and should be carefully considered. A minimum tank size of 5000 litres is best for all year round use. Your plumber can help with this decision.

Get Your Tank Plumbed In
Using your rainwater tank just for gardening can be inefficient which is why we highly recommend you get it connected to your toilet and/or laundry. If you don't do this you will subject your tank to changing weather and seasonal conditions resulting in a limited water supply.

Claim Your Rebate

You are eligible for a rebate from the Victorian Government for purchasing your rainwater tank and having it installed by a licensed plumber. The rebate is based on the size of the tank and whether it is connected to the toilet and/or laundry.
