WaterSmart Program

 Background Information

South East Water and the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) are working together to deliver the WaterSmart program. It is delivered as an 'Our Water Our Future' initiative.

The Watersmart Program is a one year direct customer marketing initiative initiated by DSE. Six water authorities are involved including the three metropolitan retail companies (Yarra Valley Water Limited, City West Water Limited, South East Water Limited) and three regional water corporations (Coliban Region Water Corporation, Central Highlands Region Water Corporation and Barwon Region Water Corporation).

As part of this project, South East Water will target approximately 40,000 households to participate in the program. Customers targeted in this campaign will receive the following letter.

Program Partner

Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) are helping to deliver this program and have been asked to contact South East Water customers on our behalf. SKM are independent environmental experts and social researchers who are passionate about creating sustainable communities and helping people to make water saving easy.
