South East Water is concerned about misleading claims from Australian Water Solutions (AWS) about the quality of Melbourne’s drinking water. AWS has been distributing marketing materials in Noble Park and Keysborough. Consumer Affairs is investigating the tactics used by AWS. Concerned customers are encouraged to call Consumer Affairs on 1300 55 81 81.

From 1 September 2010, customers will be able to apply for an exemption to install and water a new water efficient lawn suited to Melbourne’s summer climate. Find out more and how to apply: Stage 3 Exemptions.
